We would highly recommend Jimmy as your MC!We hired Jimmy to MC our parents 80th birthday party. This was a tricky event to MC as there was a mix of Korean elders, non-Korean friends, middle-aged adults and children at the event. Jimmy took the time to Skype with my brother and I (the organizers) to understand the crowd and what we wanted. He also met my parents over Skype to get them onboard with some of the activities he had planned.
The event went very smoothly and Jimmy made sure everyone had a good time! He warmed up the audience with a couple of amazing songs (he’s a GREAT singer), got everyone dancing with some good DJ’ing, and soon had a line of people waiting to sing on his Karaoke machine!
We’re very happy with our decision to hire Jimmy. He’s a pleasure to work with, a real team-player, and extremely good at making sure everyone at your event will have a great time.
Just had my wedding last weekend and it wouldn’t have been the same without JK Wedding Entertainment.My best decision by far was to hire Yoomin as my day of coordinator. She was absolutely lovely and so on top of it. I told her myself she was my favorite part of my wedding planning and as soon as we had our first meeting about a month before the big day I felt a huge weight lifted off of me. For any issues that came up she was able to do the back and forth with my venue and other vendors which saved me so much time and stress. She kept in contact with me constantly and her replies were always prompt. Literally a few days before the wedding I decided to get chiavari chairs and she was able to make it happen and had all the papers done in time. What I appreciated the most was her attention to detail and how she remembered all my requests! Super professional and experienced- Yoomin is truly a gift!
Jimmy the MC and the DJ were also amazing! My venue was the Natural History Museum and we got married in front of the dueling dinosaurs. I was delighted to hear the piano version of Jurassic Park theme play during the seating- it showed that they put a lot of thought into the playlist and it was a very beautiful surprise. Jimmy was soooo happy and upbeat throughout the whole day and it really set the mood! Wonderful singing and fun music! 10/10
Hiring Jimmy (& his wonderful co-MC), along with his DJ was the best decision I made for my wedding. It was probably pretty stressful, trying to keep the reception alive and entertaining, due to us taking out almost every aspect of a wedding reception, like the first dance, mother/father dance, bouquet/garter toss, etc. I didn’t even realize that I was being so picky and difficult until after the wedding was over! So sorry, Jimmy! But you nailed it! Thank you so much. 🙂 Not a single awkward moment! He made our wedding super fun and engaging for everybody. The adult guests were even raving about him. 🙂 The DJ was amazing. My friends loved the song choices. In addition to the MC & DJ, the lighting we chose was spot on. The uplights + gobo lights really stood out and made the reception venue stand out. Would highly recommend!!
